How to use social media to your advantage in marketing

Social media is still new to a lot of businesses, even the ones that have been around for a few years, so a lot of business owners are still trying to figure it out. But according to a study by Experian Marketing Services, 87 percent of consumers use social media to research products and services. And when they find a business they like on social media, they’re more than 80 percent likely to visit the business’s website to learn more about it.

In the past, people would need to drive somewhere to go to a brick-and-mortar store, but with the rise of the internet, that has changed. You no longer need to drive to a store to purchase something. Now you can order what you want and have it delivered right to your doorstep, thanks to online retail, and social media has helped shape this new trend.

The reason that so many people are using social media to research products and services is because the internet is so vast, and there are so many different sites that can help you find the information you need.

The more knowledge you have about the business you’re working with, the better your ability to sell them to their target customers. And the more knowledge you have, the easier it is to find out as much as you can, whether that be information on the different services the business offers, or the different companies they’re associated with.
