- Application approval :
There are two different stages to obtain permanent residency :
Stage one consists of combined application , where both temporary and permanent residency application are applied and if everything is fine and approved, temporary partner visa is issued and after 2 years if the relation is still good going then permanent partner visa is approved
Stage two consists of submitting of proof that their relation is still good and going on nicely is required, if accepted then permanent partner visa is issued.
- Waiting for visa approval:
If the couple can prove that they are in good relation from many years long term marriage relationship then after assessing application, immediately partner visa is given.

Sponsoring person:
The applicant should be sponsored by person staying in that country with permanent residency.
Sponsor identity Card for both sponsors and applicant should prove their identity.
Health assessment:
Before applicant going there medical fit certificate is important like HIV, HBsAG tests, chest x rays if any contagious infection present traveling will be cancelled visa will be rejected.
Character test:
Both sponsor and applicant should get good character certificate with no imprisonment records otherwise application will be rejected. If more than 12 months prison sentence then visa is rejected. Both sponsor and applicant should not have any criminal records.
Relation with spouse:
Proper legalized marriage certificate to be produced and years of relationship together also counted and important.
