In his initial college days, he used to sell shea butter that is used by his Liberian community. It is the most popular product in his community. The people showed interest towards the products and also he didn’t find any ways to return to his home. So, they started to sell in streets and distribute to different places.
Later, he considered developing his business further that he wanted to take the products to the retail market. It is because he finds that Black people do not get their products in the store and it is horrible for them to purchase beauty products. Also, the black woman could not able to find the products that suit her color or hairstyle. They have to visit multiple stores to get the products.

With his successful work, he god the certifications for his brand that have helped the brand to become so popular in the community. People started to hear about the brands and their values. It started to rise and the brand could see many products. But he wanted to grow his community further and so he has decided to sell the brand to Unilever. It has helped to empower women all around the globe.
His mission has not only stopped here but richelieu dennis also founded and invested in the New voices fund that is founded by Black women to build their communities. These steps have been taken to solve many problems in the community. It helps to increase the wealth for the undeserved community. He believes that with the help of this organization, he could drive balances in the community.
